Background of this journal page is made with gesso and different colors,face is cut out of a magazin.
Clothes are cut out a gift wrap. Frame is drawn and glued over. All others but stars and legs are self drawn too.

Hintergrund der Journal Seite ist mit Gesso und verschiedenen Farben buntig gemacht.
Gesicht ist aus Zeitschrift, Kleidung aus Geschenkpapier. Der Rahmen ist gezeichnet und aufgeklebt.
Ebenso ist alles andere gezeichnet, bis auf Sterne und Beine.

Journal Page "Colorful and Crazy like Mardi Grass" / Bunt und Verrückt wie die "Tollen Tage"

First I colored my page black and glued paperstripes. Then I cut out face and hand from a magazin.
Hat is made from black glossy and gift wrap and glue over the face, just as the great eye.
Shapes of lips, eyes and hand are fortified with black fineliner. Collar is doodled with black and white pen,

Meine Journal Seite habe ich zuerst schwarz gefärbt, dann bunte Streifen aufgeklebt. Das Gesicht ist aus einem Magazin.
Hut und seitliche Haare sind von mir zusammengeschnippelt aus schw.Glanzkarton + Geschenkpapier und aufgeklebt,
ebenso das viel zu große Auge. Im Gesicht sind mit schwarzem Fineliner die Konturen von Lippen Augen/Brauen verstärkt,
der Kragen ist gedoodelt mit schwarzem Filzer und weissem Gelstift.

I found an Asian Model with colorful hat in magazin and cut them out. I cut them across in stripes.
Instead of the asian eye stripe I painted new eyes and glued them between the other face stripes.
Background and clothes are fancy paper with pattern from Hundertwasser
Hand is from magazin too, I colored them lighter with Neocolors. I edged all contours with black permanent pen.

Ich fand ein asiatisches Model in einem Magazin, hab das Gesicht mit Hut ausgeschnitten und in schräge Querstreifen geteilt.
Anstatt des asiat. Augen-Streifens hab ich neue Augen auf einen Streifen Papier gemalt, sie versucht farblich anzupassen
und hab ihn zwischen die anderen Streifen geklebt. HG und Bekleidung ist aus einem Hundertwasser- Geschenkpapier geschnitten.
Die Hand ist auch aus einem Magazin, ich musste sie aufhellen mit Neocolor. Alle Konturen sind mit schw. Permanent Stift umrandet.

The 1. page is not finished, I've to add words, but I want to log the steps for me. I layered the page with Gesso, and painted with aquarellcolors, Neocolors, Graphitpen and Permanentpen. Stamped and wiped with Distress.

Die 1. Seite ist noch nicht fertig, mir fehlen noch Worte, aber ich wollte die einzelnen Schritte festhalten. Die Seite ist mit Gesso übermalt, dann mit Aquarellfarben, Neocolors, Graphit-und Permanentstift gezeichnet, und mit Distress gestempelt bzw. gewischt.

Background Technique , but I change it a little bit : I've taken glue-roller and gift paper.
I painted gesso over the gift paper top down, wiped with Embossing pad and heat with copper powder.
Then I wiped with blue Embossing Pad and heated with clear powder.....
