Altered Postcard Art

I've bought a little postcard booklet a long time ago. Please look below, there are some other original cards.
Now I found that booklet when I searched something, and I want to play with them just for fun.
Under the 1. altered postcard you can see the original card.

Inspired by the fantastic idea of Lori I want to play with coffee filters too. I'm sorry I can't write so
fabulous as Lori, but I tried my best.

AAI meets Nail Polish on Water

I used white cardstock and dropped different nail polishs on water (please read the earlier postings ) and then AAI as well.
Look the 2.  photo. Raven and leaves are glued on and finally I doodled some berries a.s.o.

Homage to Romero Britto

I was inpired by the bright colorful paintings of the prominent Pop Artist Romero Britto which I love so much . Background
is made with nail polishs like the last postings. Then I painted over that with black marker and white gelpen.

Nail polish technique

.Inspired by this video  and this I tried backgrounds and finished them. You can use usual cardstock,  you dive the card on the water surface ad a litte bit under water, to take the pattern off. Then I dust the water NOT DAB OFF! and lay it on the heater to dry. The dried card is a little bit wavy, but I've glued them detailed with much glue roller on black glossy. To protekt the pattern (some nail polishs flake off) I paint over the card with diamond glaze or glossy accents.

.Inspiriert von diesem video und this. Habe ich HG zu Karten  gemacht. man kann normalen cardstock nehmen, besser ist einseitig waterproof beschichteter Karton wie zB Fotokarton, weil die karte mit der matten Seite auf das Muster gelegt wird und kurz untergetaucht wird, um das Muster aufzunehmen (wie beim marmorieren).Wassertropfen gut abklopfen NICHT ABTUPFEN!danach zum Trockenen auf die Heizung legen. Die Karte wird dabei etwas wellig, aber mit Kleberoller gut berollt und auf zB Glossy geklebt gleicht das wieder aus.
Sollte der Lack abplatzen wollen, manche Nagellacks machen das, vorsichtig die Karte mit Diamond glaze oder glossy accents einstreichen.

Marble background with nail polishs, similar made to this video and this. It was not so easy for me to see a figure in that chaos of colors. But when I saw a profil view, I doodled it with permanent markers and had great fun.

 I love it to doodle, I've made it with black permanent marker on the nail polish background.
